As part of the sustainability strategies of Bahías de Huatulco, in 2011 the Huatulco Carbon Neutral program was created, focused on offsetting greenhouse gas emissions generated by tourist activity. Through the permanent campaign "Leave No Trace", visitors and tourists can voluntarily participate in offsetting the destination's carbon footprint through contributions used to acquire carbon credits in international markets via the Carbon Trade eXchange (CTX) platform.
This program promotes environmental awareness and strengthens the collective commitment toward more responsible and sustainable tourism.
When you travel by any means of transport and during your stay, you pollute the air (atmosphere)
and leave your carbon footprint, but in Huatulco you can neutralize it!
By contributing $10 MXN per night to the Huatulco Carbon Neutral program you offset your trip and ...
