Learn MoreEnvironmental education represents one of the fundamental pillars of Equipo Verde Huatulco. Through permanent programs and campaigns, social awareness is promoted about the importance of environmental conservation, responsible use of natural resources, and citizen participation.

Implementation of continuous environmental training programs aimed at the population through educational institutions at all levels, from preschool to university.

Conferences and talks have been opened in different social and productive sectors to train, raise awareness and inform the population on sustainable development.

Scheduled in 2005 called Sábados de Acopio, which was developed for four years with the objective of raising awareness among the population about waste separation.

Following the Sábados de Acopio program, the first Temporary Collection and Transfer Center was installed where the population can drop off their separated waste.
