HUATULCO SUSTAINABLE
Code of Customs
Social Commitment to Sustainability
With the goal of strengthening the sense of belonging and community participation, Equipo Verde Huatulco developed the Code of Customs for Sustainable Development, a social commitment based on international principles of sustainability, environmental responsibility, and responsible tourism.
This code promotes good practices related to biodiversity conservation, responsible waste management, efficient use of water and energy, social inclusion, fair trade, and respect for local traditions.
Its construction involved the participation of educational institutions, the business sector, civil society, and governmental authorities, establishing itself as a governance tool that guides collective actions toward the sustainable development of Bahías de Huatulco.
